Sarah Samms grew up in the mysterious pacific northwest town of Portland, Oregon. She left in 2010 and returned in 2020 after a brimming decade of travel and uncommon experiences. She wrote a 55,000-word self-published book titled The Travelin’ Itch that speaks on her youth of hopping freight trains, hitchhiking the EU, homesteading in Alaska and living in Perú. Currently she is in BA program at Portland State University. In her spare time, you can find Sarah playing music, making art, hiking, camping, writing her next book, participating in (non-virtual) intersectional activism, and foraging medicinal herbs.
